Prehen's Annual Open Week continued with The McFeely Open Cup kindly sponsored by the McFeely family to honour the memory of their late parents Kieran and Imelda. The winning score of 47 points (an Open Week record) came from newly joined David McIvor (28) who could do absolutely nothing wrong on the day, managing to par the 13th, 14th and 15th in succession. Needless to say that his handicap has plummeted dramatically. Fairly normal scoring resumed after that with Iain Anthony (5) taking second place on 41 points. He started with a blank!. Third place went to Michael Houston (12) on 40 points with Lester Moore (2) finishing in 4th nett, 39 points on a count  back but also having the best gross. Eric Watson's (15) came back much refreshed after his sunny holiday to finish in 5th overall on the same score. Best of the visitors was Billy Hutchman (12) (Faughan Valley) on 36 points. Kevin Barrett (16) won the front nine on 23 points and Kevin Cassidy (21) was best of the day on the back nine with 22 points break of tie.
Shot of the Day was made by James Doherty (8), he finished on 35 points helped considerably by his nine iron tee shot that went straight into the hole on "The Quarry", his second ever hole-in-one and witnessed on this occasion by his two playing partners Iain Anthony and Colin Jeffrey
