The Last Shall Be First.
Michael McDaid (10) proved that old biblical maxim true, he was last to finish in the Black and Adams Homes Limited sponsored Open but still managed to take the first prize with a well compiled 41 points in less than ideal conditions. Ian Orr (16) with 39 points was  the leader up to the last minute but eventually had to settle for the runner up spot. Peter Hasson (5) took third place with 38 points on a count back with Ronan Curran (25) from Letterkenny who is showing great potential having three blanks and still finished on the prize list. Ernie Heywood (2) was best gross with 34 points and the best nines prizes went to Conor Given (17) 22 points on the front nine and 1658 Martin Doherty (19) 21 points on the back nine.
