*Break of tie

Ortie Phillips (15) went one place better than his second place of the previous week in carding an excellent 42 points that included two birdies on the first nine for a two shot winning margin. Prehen's immediate past Captain Michael McCullough (13) showed that once freed from his onerous official duties he could still produce the goods on the course, he needed a favourable tie break however that was decided on the last six holes  to take second place with 39 points. Spare a thought for the luckless Billy Acheson  (22) who had 39 points standing on the 18th Tee but couldn't add to them after an unfortunate blank on the final hole and had to settle for third place. A modest 33 points was good enough for one of the Club's most regular competitors Iain Anthony (5) to take the best gross of the day
